Mission and Purpose: 1. To provide safety awareness in the workplace. 2. To provide a forum to address safety issues and concerns of mutual interest. 3. To provide training and educational programming to promote safety in the workplace.
About the Council: The Shelby County Safety Council is one of the 80+ Safety Councils in the State of Ohio coordinated by the Ohio Division of Safety & Hygiene. It is funded in part by the Bureau of Workers' Compensation Division of Safety & Hygiene and is coordinated locally by the Sidney-Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. There are 80+ members in the council.
When and Where are Meetings Held: Typically the first Wednesday of each month from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. at Wilson Memorial Hospital's Professional Building (lower level conference rooms) 915 West Michigan Street, Sidney.
Annual Dues: $120.00 - Chamber Member; $250.00 - Non-Chamber Member Lunch is included for one person from the member business to attend 12 meetings.
