GIFT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Welcomed at 80 member businesses, the Chamber’s gift certificate program affords a great way to reward your employees and keep local dollars in the hands of local Chamber members. Available in $5, $10, and $20 denominations, use them as holiday gifts, performance rewards, and other workplace incentives. Anyone may purchase Chamber gift certificates, but they may only be redeemed at participating Chamber businesses. BUSINESS AFTER HOURS
An opportunity to host or to attend this "open house" style event. Typically held on a weeknight, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., all Chamber of Commerce members are invited to attend. A great way to display your facilities, goods and services, network with Chamber members and generate new business.

The Chamber encourages esthetic and functional business investment by recognizing outstanding business facility improvement through its Beautification Awards presented at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner.

MEMBER OF THE DAY Hits 105.5 Radio Spotlight
Each weekday at Noon the Chamber presents a brief profile of one of its member organizations on WMVR radio. In addition, during any 30-day period per year, Chamber members receive a discount of 50% off WMVR's standard radio advertising rates.

BUSINESS REFERRALS
Extensive use of the Chamber’s membership directory beyond the bounds of the Chamber members, and local, state and national telephone inquiries to the Chamber office result in business referrals to Chamber members. Chamber membership is a low cost advertising package.

LEGAL REFERRALS
Chamber members with a particular legal concern may contact the Chamber President for a legal referral.

NO FEE SECTION 125 PLAN AND ADMINISTRATION

The Chamber conducts educational and seminar events throughout the year on a variety of business related topics.

HUMAN RESOURCES COUNCIL
The Chamber's Human Resources Council is comprised of Chamber member employees who have responsibility for managing their company's Human Resources function. They meet monthly to address common topics of mutual interest. An annual survey of wages and benefits in Shelby County is conducted and published for the benefit of Chamber members.

SAFETY COUNCIL
The Chamber of Commerce partners with the Ohio Division of Safety and Hygiene to host speakers and seminars on safety related issues designed to enhance safe working environments. Chamber members are recognized annually for outstanding safety records, programs and achievements.

The Chamber of Commerce constantly monitors business related legislative activity at the national, state and local level. The Chamber ’s Board of Directors and Staff represent Chamber members on key community and business development organizations throughout Shelby County such as the West Ohio Development Council, Community Improvement Corporation, United Way, JVS Business Advisory Council, Postal Customer Council, and Edison College Foundation. An excellent working rapport is maintained with the City of Sidney Council, City Manager, Village Administrators, and Shelby County Commissioners.
