The Sidney-Shelby County Chamber of Commerce sponsors a Foundation that provides funds to Chamber member schools and organizations serving the youth of Shelby County.  Funded by donations from its membership and supplemental funding from Honda Corporate Social Responsibility grants, the intended purpose is to support programs that enrich the educational experience of Shelby County children thereby better preparing them to enter the workplace of our members.

Each year in the September through mid-October time frame, Chamber member organizations are invited to submit grant applications for consideration by Chamber Foundation volunteers.  Grant decisions by this panel are then communicated to grant recipients by the end of December and funded by the end of January.
